जय सरस्वती माता, मैया जय सरस्वती माता।
सद्गुण वैभव शालिनी, त्रिभुवन विख्याता॥
- Hindi Arth: हे माँ सरस्वती, आपकी जय हो! हे मैया, आपकी जय हो! आप सभी अच्छे गुणों और वैभव (संपत्ति/महिमा) से परिपूर्ण हैं और तीनों लोकों (स्वर्ग, पृथ्वी, और पाताल) में प्रसिद्ध हैं।
- English Meaning: Glory to you, Mother Saraswati! You are endowed with all virtues and opulence, and you are renowned across the three worlds.
चंद्रवदनि पद्मासिनि, द्युति मंगलकारी।
सोहे शुभ हंस सवारी, अतुल तेजधारी॥
- Hindi Arth: आपका मुख चंद्रमा के समान सुंदर है और आप कमल के फूल पर विराजमान हैं। आपकी ज्योति अत्यंत कल्याणकारी है। आपकी हंस की सवारी बहुत शुभ लगती है और आपका तेज (प्रकाश) अतुलनीय है।

बाएं कर में वीणा, दाएं कर माला।
शीश मुकुट मणि सोहे, गल मोतियन माला॥
- Hindi Arth: आपके बाएं हाथ में वीणा और दाएं हाथ में स्फटिक की माला सुशोभित है। आपके सिर पर मणियों से जड़ा मुकुट और गले में मोतियों की माला बहुत सुंदर लग रही है।

देवी शरण जो आए, उनका उद्धार किया।
पैठी मंथरा दासी, रावण संहार किया॥
- Hindi Arth: हे देवी! जो कोई भी आपकी शरण में आया, आपने उसका उद्धार (कल्याण) किया है। आपने ही मंथरा दासी की बुद्धि को फेरकर रावण के संहार का मार्ग प्रशस्त किया था।

विद्या ज्ञान प्रदायिनि, ज्ञान प्रकाश भरो।
मोह अज्ञान और तिमिर का, जग से नाश करो॥
- Hindi Arth: आप विद्या और ज्ञान देने वाली हैं, कृपया हमारे जीवन में ज्ञान का प्रकाश भर दें। इस संसार से मोह, अज्ञान और अंधकार (तिमिर) का पूरी तरह से नाश कर दें।
- English Meaning: You are the provider of education and wisdom; please fill our lives with the light of knowledge. Destroy all worldly attachments, ignorance, and darkness from this world.
धूप दीप फल मेवा, माँ स्वीकार करो।
ज्ञानचक्षु दे माता, जग निस्तार करो॥
- Hindi Arth: हे माँ! हम आपको धूप, दीप, फल और मेवे अर्पित कर रहे हैं, कृपया इसे स्वीकार करें। हमें ज्ञान रूपी नेत्र प्रदान करें और इस संसार रूपी भवसागर से हमारा पार (निस्तार) कराएं।

माँ सरस्वती की आरती, जो कोई जन गावे।
हितकारी सुखकारी ज्ञान भक्ति पावे॥
